Sainik School Kunjpura marked the 80th Independence Day on 15 August 2026 with solemnity and patriotic fervour.
Captain (IN) Gurbir Singh, Principal, laid a wreath at the War Memorial to honour the school’s fallen heroes. The National Flag was hoisted amidst the singing of the National Anthem . Thereafter, Cadets presented a brief cultural programme featuring patriotic talks and songs.

In his address on the occasion , the Principal urged cadets to remember those who made the supreme sacrifice for the nation and to grow into worthy citizens of strong character.

The programme concluded with distribution of sweets for General Employees, refreshments for cadets, and high tea for all the staff.
