Honouring the Distinguished Service of Shri Baidya Nath Jha

Sainik School Kunjpura proudly honours Shri Baidya Nath Jha, TGT Mathematics , on his superannuation, marking the culmination of an illustrious career spanning nearly 38 years of dedicated service in Sainik Schools.

Shri Jha commenced his teaching career at Sainik School Goalpara in 1988 and joined Sainik School Kunjpura on 28 June 1999. Throughout his distinguished tenure, he made invaluable contributions as an educator, mentor, House Master, NCC functionary, and through various administrative and co-curricular responsibilities, shaping generations of cadets with dedication and excellence.

In recognition of his outstanding contribution to education, Shri Jha was conferred the National Award to Teachers(2014) by the then President of India, Pranab Mukherjee He has also been conferred with the Global Teachers Role Model Award  and the Shikshak Ratan Award. He also contributed to the development of the NCERT Mathematics Textbook for Grade IX.

The entire Sainik School Kunjpura fraternity expresses its heartfelt gratitude to Shri Baidya Nath Jha for his exemplary service, unwavering commitment, and lasting contributions to the institution and wishes him good health, happiness and a fulfilling retired life.
