The Republic Day was celebrated with great enthusiasm and a profound sense of patriotism at Sainik School Kunjpura. The ceremony commenced with the Chief Guest and members of the school fraternity offering floral tributes at the Martyrs’ Memorial, paying heartfelt homage to the brave soldiers who laid down their lives for the nation. This was followed by the hoisting of the National Flag, after which the National Anthem was sung. All officers, teachers, and students present paid their respects to the supreme sacrifices of the martyrs.
The school cadets presented captivating patriotic songs, speeches, and cultural performances, reflecting a strong spirit of nationalism and discipline throughout the programme.
In his inspiring address, Principal Capt(IN) Gurbir Singh highlighted the significance of Republic Day and motivated students to play an active role in nation-building. He emphasized that today’s youth are the future of the country and that the responsibility for the nation’s progress, security, and development rests on their shoulders. He urged students to imbibe the values of the Constitution, along with discipline, integrity, and a strong sense of duty in their lives.
The programme concluded with an impressive parade by the school cadets. With each synchronized step, the cadets’ zeal and discipline were palpable, as the very ground seemed to echo their resolve and commitment to the nation. Throughout the event, the school campus remained immersed in patriotic fervour, resonating with slogans of “Bharat Mata Ki Jai.”
On this occasion, Principal Captain Gurbir Singh was present as the Chief Guest. He was accompanied by Executive Vice Principal and Administrative Officer Wing Commander Sonia Sharma, senior faculty member Mr. Sanjay Chauhan, along with all teaching and non-teaching staff of the school.
