Sainik School Kunjpura celebrated the culmination of its action-packed Inter-House Basketball Tournament

The tournament showcased remarkable athletic talent and sportsmanship among the cadets, with Chillianwala House winning the Junior trophy and Panipat House securing the Senior championship.

The event was presided over by the Principal, Captain (IN) Gurbir Singh, who was also the Chief Guest for the ceremony. The ceremony was graced by the presence of Vice Principal Lt C Nirmaljeet Singh and Senior Master Sanjay Chauhan, along with the entire staff. Event Incharge Suni Guleria ensured the smooth execution of the tournament with exemplary organization and coordination. The tournament, which began on August 26, saw intense competition across all houses, reflecting the high standards of discipline and teamwork instilled at the school.

In the final results, the spirit and skill of the cadets were on full display:
* Junior Category Champions: Chillianwala House
* Senior Category Champions: Panipat House

Individual brilliance was also recognized, with Cadet Angad Chauhan of Chillianwala House being named the Best Player of the Tournament in the Junior category. In the Senior category, the honour of Best Player was awarded to Cadet Ritesh of Panipat House for his exceptional performance throughout the tournament.

In his address as Chief Guest, Principal Captain (IN) Gurbir Singh praised the participants, stating, “This tournament was a wonderful display of teamwork and resilience. The lessons of sportsmanship and discipline learned on the court are invaluable, and we are incredibly proud of every cadet who participated.”
